Lungs B Calm
This is a CHOPPED herb recipe.
Lungs B Calm is the blend I made for myself when I began experiencing breathing issues about a year ago due to all the spraying in our area. As I have been trying different chopped breathing recipes for easy feeding, I decided that this blend I enjoy as a tea would be a wonderful addition to our herbal recipes! (NOTE: it's pretty delicious if I do say so myself!)
Our first lung recipe, Cough No More tends to work more effectively on "wet" coughs, breathing issues due to bacterial or fungal infection whereas Lungs B Calm works best on issues that restrict breathing, COPD, asthma, some types of breathing issues due to allergies and anything else that restricts deep breathing.
Which recipe is right for your situation? Unfortunately, since breathing issues can come out of many different directions (including heart issues) it may be necessary to try both recipes in order to decide which one works best for your situation. It is also possible that one may work best during different parts of the year...Cough No More may work best in the winter, while Lungs B Calm may work best in the summer. Please give a minimum of two weeks for each product to decide which is best for your situation even though you may see improvement in as little as 24 hours in some cases.
As it is a CHOPPED herb recipe, Lungs B Calm may be fed wet or dry, though presoaked for at least 5 minutes with warm water helps to activate the herbs. May be presoaked or added into feed and soaked. If presoaked, use both soaked herbs and the juice made from presoaking.
Not to be used when pregnant or nursing.
Eases Restricted Breathing

Dosage: Please start at lower dosage, only increase as needed. Long term daily use not studied so give occasional breaks in use.
Horse 1000 pounds and over 1/4 to 1/3 cup
500-1000lbs 2 Tablespoons to 1/4 cup
under 500lbs 1 to 2 tablespoons
A 16oz bag is approximately forty 1/4 cup servings
Improvement depends on supporting diet, weather (hot and dry vs cold and wet) and local conditions and health issues. If liver issues are present, this recipe may help alleviate some symptoms but there are no studies that prove it will help or hurt your particular situation. Use cautiously if previous health issues exist (as this combination has not been tested extensively) outside of lung issues though these herbs are known to help many health issues.
